Remembrance 2022

The remembrance Day ceremony is for our Veterans.  They do not need an invitation to attend.

Join us again this year, on November 11th for the North Shore Annual Remembrance Day Celebration at the Cenotaph in Victoria Park.

For those who are unable to attend, we are broadcasting the event as a livestream on YouTube.  You can also watch the ceremony live on this page.

Order of SErvice

  • 10:00 - First sentries placed
  • 10:15 - Cenotaph Sentries change
  • 10:45 - Service Commences.
  • 11:05 -Wreath Laying Ceremony
  • 11:15 Cenotaph Service ends.
  • 11:35 Parade Begins

We're happy to confirm that 2022 marks the return of the Veterans' Parade after the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph.

While we will not be live streaming the entire parade, please help us celebrate the return of a much loved finale to the Ceremony in person. The Parade route is below.

Our Covid-19 Policy in 2022

We are happy to say that Covid-19 Restrictions for this public gathering are no longer in effect!  

Any individual attending as a spectator or participant may make their own choice regarding mask wearing and social distancing.

The North Shore Veterans Council was formed in 1948 by various Veteran Service Organizations from the North Shore to support the annual Remembrance Day Parade on November 11 each year at Victoria Park in North Vancouver.
